Story

Wildflower is a floral design studio based in the heart of the Ouseburn under an arch of the Byker Bridge. Originally based in the Northumbrian countryside, we started out in 2006 primarily creating for weddings and events.

In 2015 Wildflower moved to the Ouseburn neighbourhood of Newcastle. Our love of houseplants, the garden, interiors and design became a more integral part of the business and the studio organically became a shop.

In 2024 we made the decision to close the shop and take our focus from retail back to creative floral projects and we are currently reimagining our Ouseburn space. The shop will continue online however we will open the space for new product launches and special events.

Our services span from hand-delivered arrangements to large scale floral installations. We provide innovative floral arrangements for weddings, gatherings and businesses. Enquire here

Environment

We do our best to minimize our footprint on this planet, and invest time into finding ways to do so. We enjoy working with people who want to do the same. We encourage our clients to embrace seasonality, and when possible we buy locally. It is no secret that the events industry is wasteful, so we gift, compost, and work without floral foam whenever possible.
